The overall objective of this assignment is to develop a SADC EPA Information Portal to provide enhanced access to EU-SADC EPA-related information for stakeholders.

This report documents stakeholder consultations done in 5 SADC EPA States that are supported under the SADC Trade Facilitation Programme. The aim of the consultations was to facilitate input and comments on the findings of the situation analysis desk study and the design of the EU-SADC EPA information portal.

The consultant was hosted by Ministries responsible for Trade and these Ministries arranged and hosted meetings with other relevant stakeholders. Signed attendance registers for the meetings with stakeholders were kept by hosting Ministries (for data privacy and security reasons). The consultant was able to also meet the EU Delegation staff in Botswana, Eswatini and Mozambique.

For each meeting, the consultant did an introduction of the objectives of the assignment, followed by a presentation of the Situation Analysis report and a demonstration of the throw-away prototype of the EU-SADC EPA portal. This was followed by discussions with participants.
